Who should have this exam?
Individuals age 40 and over with any of the following risk factors:
- Family history of heart disease, especially early-onset (before age 50)
- Current or former smoker
- Elevated cholesterol or abnormal lipid profile
- Diabetes or high blood pressure
- Sedentary lifestyle or high-stress occupation
- Unexplained chest discomfort
- Personal history of cardiovascular disease
